Lizard Island’s new restaurant “Salt Water” will be alongside the newly extended “Driftwood” bar. Award winning architects Hecker Guthrie have created an elegant and seamless interior with the extended space providing stunning views over Anchor Bay. The newly created International Wine Cellar is a visual focus and will introduce a wine menu created exclusively for Lizard Island by Jeremy Oliver.

The food philosophy is simple, pure and uncomplicated – reflective of the casual elegance and natural surroundings
of Lizard Island. They start with the premise, fresh is best, and this leads naturally to local suppliers and producers. Lizard Island will work with these partners to drive the evolution of seasonal menus through our selection of ethically and sustainably sourced produce. The seasonal produce is the hero and it is with a light hand and great respect that we will infuse complementary flavours and cooking styles to deliver cuisine that is fresh, healthy and simply delicious.
