No waiting with our dinners..

No waiting with our dinners..

So once again we have plunged into the foodie waters with an exceptional progressive dinner in the hipster central of Burleigh Heads. Part of the adventure of a Progressive Dinner is the surprise and delight the participants experience. You could do three dinners in a row and still not have visited all that our progressive has to offer.

A Progressive Dinner involves five different restaurant stops in one night so you get to mix it up with the other participants and not always be seated beside the same person.

As an example it may begin with a glass of champagne or beer at a beach-side location –  where you can watch the surfers play amongst the waves. A short stroll will then take you to a restaurant renowned for its seafood where you will indulge in an iconic prawn cocktail with a glass of  Sauvigion Blanc or an India Pale Ale. It is then over to the trendy rustic pub style location where its all about the roasting of meats and beer and mixing it up with the  crowd. Next move into the heart of Burleigh and into a laneway where the acoustic live vibes filter through the crowd. The food at this stop is influenced from Asia , and is inspiringly tasty to get you ready for the main course.  Main course is a vibrant and busy pizza, pasta and salad course where the efficient, friendly and cute staff will look after all your needs as well as package up the leftover pizza (even though there never is – anything to take away that is). This is a hotspot of Burleigh.
