One of the many locals you are bound to meet.

I can hear you asking that question from here so look no further. Here is our quick guide to Australia in a paragraph:

Deep breath and……………… If you’re the arty  type who loves a good coffee, pub, gallery, live music and/or bookshop, head straight to Melbourne and don’t pass go. Sydney maintains its reputation for awesome surf beaches close to the city, world-class restaurants, funky shops, great nightclubs and cool bars. Brisbane is a modern city on the rise flanked by a curvaceous river. The Gold Coast has miles and miles of pristine beaches and an unbeatable sub tropical climate. Although Perth is the world’s most isolated capital city it is the starting point to the amazing Margaret River region in the south and the unforgettable Coral Coast to the north. Darwin is the gateway to Australia’s outback – full of crocs and second to none untouched national parks steeped with indigenous tradition and culture. Snorkel over incandescent coral and fish on the Great Barrier Reef which needless to say is mesmerising and found via Cairns in North Queensland. If cooler climates float your boat, Tasmania’s sub-alpine Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park hosts the Overland Track, one of the planet’s most celebrated multi-day hikes. Finally if wine is your thing, South Australia is for you. Wobble your way through numerous wine regions: the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale (Shiraz), Clare Valley (Riesling), Coonawarra (Cabernet Sauvignon) and Adelaide Hills (Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir).
